A New Adventure

This is my first foray into the world of blogs and I'm in unfamiliar territory. So, I'm simply going to say that The Open Door is a wonderful place to be eight hours a day. I am fortunate to be a part of this unique bookshop and gift gallery, not only because I believe in the virtue of supporting local businesses, but because I work with some of the most amazing women I've ever met. Over the course of the next few months, I will have each of them introduce themselves here, as well. In the meantime, I look forward to posting reviews of new and interesting books, chronicling our store events, and introducing the beautifully crafted pieces featured in our gift gallery.
